It’s About Loving What You Do

I sometimes work till 2 in the morning, replying to emails, reviewing some projects and other things. In the morning, despite the fact that I barely had sleep, I still wake up to get ready for work, once again energized. People sometimes wonder how I get to do this kind of routine and my only answer is “I love what I do.” In one of my blog posts, I have mentioned the other dreams and ambitions I had when I was younger but being able to do the things I do now, the challenges and the satisfaction of going through them, the new discoveries and knowledge that seeps into my brain everyday is just what I need. One major factor why I love going to the office is that the people at the office are not just co-workers but friends as well. We talk about things, we have fun and we share what we know. Even if I’ve been in the IT industry for ten years (professionally), I still learn from the bright young minds at work, they always have something to share (knowledge-wise, food trip or chikka-wise) and that what makes the office buzzing and that what makes me go out of my room to just spend time with them. It’s an honor to be in the midst of people who have the same dynamism and enthusiasm as I do. Those that joined the team recently are fast catching up with their seniors and are now zooming in on their projects showing so much passion and dedication. With them on board, I know every day is a fun day at work. That’s what keeps me going. It’s been a very long week … a long but good week so now, it’s time to rest. Honey….over and out.
